About Vetted

Supporting football players during the most vulnerable moment of their development.

Vetted exists to support football players during the most vulnerable moment of their development — the transition out of academy football.

Each year, thousands of young players leave professional academies with talent, ambition, and limited structure for what comes next. The loss of daily routine, identity, and visibility can create both emotional risk and missed opportunity.

Vetted was built to address this gap.

What We Do

We provide a secure digital environment where released players remain supported, visible, and connected as they navigate their next steps — whether that's continued football, education, or alternative pathways.

Support continuity during academy exit

Ensuring players don't fall through the cracks when their academy contract ends.

Reduce isolation through moderated peer connection

Creating safe spaces for players to connect with others going through similar transitions.

Maintain visibility of former players

Keeping released players visible to scouts and opportunities for future pathways.

Provide access to experienced perspectives

Connecting players with former professionals who understand their journey.

Help players translate their academy experience

Supporting transitions into next-stage opportunities, including university pathways.

What We Are Not

We are not a clinical or medical service — We do not provide therapeutic or mental health treatment.

We do not replace club safeguarding or welfare teams — We work alongside existing support structures.

We do not make guarantees of contracts or scholarships — We create pathways, not promises.

Vetted is designed to reduce blind spots, not transfer responsibility.

Our mission is simple:

No player should disappear the moment their contract ends.
